Custom Designed Polaroid Pix of Pets!
Foam core and photo spray mount is key here in the DIY area of pix. Needed to create some blown up ginormous pix in vintage Polaroid style for the upcoming Dog Park event this Saturday. These will be displayed at my booth as well as some other fun items to take a look at! I really think this is a cool idea for a cheap and modern way to display large prints. I think I'll create some more and install a modern shelf to set them on. Very cool idea and even teenagers think it's hip too ( Leia questioned why I didn't have an image of HER??) hm.

Lucky Dog! Pet Portrait Gift Cerificate Created In An Hour!
This project among many has been a long one. One of the last on my list for the upcoming people and their pets portrait at the Omaha Dog Park's Annual Fundraiser-Spring Bark in the Park! This GC is going to be a part of a raffle. I have also created a clever and cool marketing goody bag. Will post pix of that soon. Anyway, I am not a graphic designer by any means and this is very BASIC. I know what I want it to look like and so this is what I whipped up. I think I need to rasterize the file. Will figure that out when the time comes! Truly hoping this event will launch my biz to the next level. I'm so excited and giddy with joy, but at the same time I'm utterly terrified! Yikes! Letting the fear of failure to creep in is a tough one to keep out. But hey, what's the worst that can happen? People hate the fact that I shoot fabulous people and their beautiful pets? Yeah that's it. So I'll be promoting the event all week. Stay tuned!

Fun Vintage Movie Popcorn Floral Bouquet
This is an arrangement I came across on a fun floral delivery. This is NOT the item we delivered, I'll post that another time, this was located at the church at the reception desk. I politely asked for permission to photograph it, no prob. White carnation bouquet of flowers placed in a retro vintage movie popcorn container. How clever is that? It's fun and happy and a cheap way to send a friendly welcome message to all who worship at the church right? Happy Friday movie night!

Classic White Wedding Bridal Bouquet
I saved the best for last. This is my favorite shot of a bridal bouquet. Classic. Dramatic. Beautiful. I especially love the black background. An explosion of white roses and hydrangea mixed with bling for a classic white wedding. Stunning!

Lush Pink with Bling Bridal Bouquet
This was an experiment with the use of a pink shiny base. It's also known as decorative floral wrap. One of the first bouquets I photographed and had no idea how this would turn out. The flowers and the bouquet are fantastic, but again I don't like my logo, the background (base) or the artsy angle imho. An example of a not so good bridal bouquet photograph. It's def lush and pink.

Classic Red Roses and Orchid Bridal Bouquet
This is a stunning bridal bouquet with the rich and classic red roses. The orchids are ridiculous with intricate detail. This shot is nice and crisp and vivid and sharp and all, yet it bothers me, just the fact that it's kind of hard to tell if it's a bridal bouquet or not. Like I stated in my previous posts, I prefer the straight on symmetrical comp shots. I would have chopped off the left blurry edge if I could. Anyway, that's not important, what is important is that it's still classic and beautiful. Right?

Spring Romance Bridal Bouquet
I'm liking the angle of this fresh, colorful, spring romance of a bridal bouquet shot. The glass vase that is used for propping it up is hardly noticeable and ideal. I'm also sticking with the 20% opacity in black on my logo. Subtle yet obvious. In previous posts I would pick a color that was used in the image, but 20% black is just right. Classic with a pop of romantic color bridal bouquet. Love it!

Furry Friend Welcomes Spring Forward!
Even though my latest posts have been colorful, it's been colorless outside and so this idea was the perfect solution! Furby was a perfect model this fine afternoon, at first I shot against the dirty and dingy grass. But then I realized I had the perfect set up by using this outdoor green cushion! It provides a nice colorful contrast. I love it. Spring it on!

Fresh Spring Forward Lily Bridal Bouquet
These past winter months have been colorless so photographing floral arrangements has been a delight lately. We spring forward tomorrow and this collection has been appropriate. I'll be posting an assortment of flower photographs which is not what I normally like to do, but it has been a nice refreshing change of pace. Capturing a beautiful flower and bringing out the colors and vividness is amazing to me. So look forward to me sharing photographs of what I enjoy doing on the side of other projects.
