Cool and swanky chicago signs!

i love this sign. 'the redhead piano bar' i love the swank style look of it. it's retro, cool, classic and unique. never been here to experience the place. i'm sure it is divine and swell. this will be on my list of places to visit in my lifetime. yes, i walked right past it to take this image, but it was in the morning and it was of course closed.

summer in chicago family trip 2010

have been away for a few days and now it's finally time to get back to the real world. i stepped away from the computer and all emails for 5 days and the withdrawals didn't kick in until the final day. it's good to be back on track again. there was no focus on anything in particular-just behavin' like a typical tourist. so here are some random images from the start of our trip. summer in chicago is quite beautiful (and tasty!!!!!)i must say.
