new puppycat font
You know that feeling of procrastination? It just eats you alive and overcomes you til you never get anything done. Ever. Well, I kicked his ass tonight by going through some very different types of fonts from the fabulous dafont.com website. I seriously have been searching for a cool font for my logo for about a year now. Always changing it up a little here and a little there-never quite settling and committing to a final one. I found it. Or rather he found me. And his name is 'teen'. Bold and light and oh so perfect for me. It took me a minute and there it was. This image is from a book I have been working on for some time. I took a screen shot of the back of the book. I don't like it. I Love it.

creative fee and pricing final proof for website
i work best under pressure. and that's how me creative juices flow. i believe my prices are fair and comparable to other pet photographers from east coast to west and then smack dab in the midwest. nothing is over priced or under priced. i am NOT walmart. i am also NOT annie leibowitz. iwant to give people value for their money. i want to give people an experience. pets are like our babies-we love them and they love us back unconditionally and forever. i believe it's so important to have at least ONE professional photograph of your pet(child).

morning fallen leaves in march
i discovered an image of leia from back in 01 that is from my favorite season of the year-fall. i wanted to create a desaturated and dingy crisp look-you can almost smell the bed of crunchy leaves she is laying in.

Micronauts Baron Karza Leader of the Evil Acroyear 1977
Micronauts Baron Karza Leader of the Evil Acroyear 1977-seriously. this guy is a major collectible! finally someone will be treasuring this evil villian and it will have a new home in new york! i went nuts before i packaged the item for shipping. i just felt he needed some exposure and wanted to create a weird sci fi horror retro vintage energy in these images. he is a sought after 'toy' on ebay currently. (alright he's an action figure) and has been in ship shape for all these years. studio cheesyness i guess.

leia loves furby
leia loves furby and he is a huge part of our lives. a snow dog who would prefer to be held as a baby forever, 4 pound furbs is the the inspiration for my biz. shot with my happy snap olympus 3mpx camera. it did a pretty good job for a lot of the outdoor shots with lots of bright light, but olympus cameras struggle to perform well in low light. i love 'em and have used them for 10 years now but, back in the day during my dark room school days using 35mm, i worked with canon and minolta. and these guys(especially canon- i believe sony handles all minota now) are superb for low light and never seem to struggle or hunt for anything. they waste no time and i will soon see the light.

pix from the past 2
i have an assortment of images from when i would shoot leia all the time. she was a great subject, perfect in every way of course and at that age was a pretty patient model. the comp on this one is super cool-it's early morning, b4 school, finishing up her breakfast, slightly sleepy eyes and the colors just scream-KIDS! i like.
